This authentic Languedoc Castle is nestled between the Black Mountain and the Mediterranean Sea, parting on the ways of the appellations Saint Chinian and Minervois and on the banks of the Canal du Midi. The Sériège Castle used to be the property of the Vicompte de Narbonne until the 13th Century. The domain of Sériège features more than 100 hectares of vineyards aged from 3 to 80.Since 2003, the domain has been managed by Barthélémy d’Andoque de Sériège.

Vine varieties from diverse regions of France grow on the calcareous soil. Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon which come from the noble grapes of Bordeaux, Syrah from the Côtes du Rhône as well as local grape variety such as Grenache, Cinsaut, Carignan and Caladoc. The vineyard is developed through a environmental management while controlling the productivity that allows an optimum maturity for the grapes.
